Services for Student Organizations
Student Organization Financial Support
Financial support for ASUO-Recognized Student Organizations is available through Student Organization Financial Support. This service is coordinated by Student Government Engagement and Success, a department-based program funded by the Incidental Fee.
Student Organization Leadership Support
Resource support and guidance is available to the leaders of all ASUO-Recognized Student Organizations. We can help with event planning, training and education, graphic design, digital display, marketing, fundraising, promotion, and more.
CampusLabs/Engage Resource Hub
Each of ASUO’s 200-plus student organizations is identified in the CampusLabs/Engage Resource Hub, along with their mission and goals, governance structure, meeting and event information, and contact information.
Supply Nest, Poster Distribution, and Office Hours Space
The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) has a variety of resources available to student organizations and student organization leaders, including a poster distribution service, an equipment check-out center, and space for your organization’s office hours. Find CSI on the second floor of the Erb Memorial Union.
Supplemental Funding
ASUO-Recognized Student Organizations work with Student Senate to request surplus funding and budget changes. An official from your organization must meet with a senator, submit an application, and have it reviewed by the ASUO President. Allow four to eight weeks for this process.
Stipends
Positions with ASUO and ASUO-Recognized Student Organizations offer students opportunities for learning and leadership development. Students in pre-identified positions within eligible organizations may receive a fixed monthly allocation called a stipend. This program is coordinated by Student Government Engagement and Success and the Division of Student Life.
ASUO Budget Process
Each year, ASUO coordinates a process by which the Incidental Fund Budget and the amount of the Incidental Fee are determined for the next fiscal year. This budget annually includes funds for ASUO-Recognized Student Organizations.
Financial Information
Information and guidelines related to ASUO-managed fund activities for ASUO-Recognized Student Organizations are available on a variety of topics. This information is maintained by Student Organization Financial Support.
